At Border Chiropractic, we work with the body's natural ability to self-regulate and heal- a principle known as homeostasis. We respect that the body knows best, and our health flourishes when given the right environment and supportive conditions.

Clarence Gonstead, one of the founding fathers of chiropractic technique, is credited with adopting the premise of find it, fix it, leave it alone. He developed a system of comprehensive xray analysis which we utilize to help specifically FIND THE PROBLEM, Our onsite Canon D/R X-Ray facility (Digital Radiography) allows us to instantly view high resolution images, paramount for not only the most effective spinal analysis but also for patient safety.

We combine this with Thompson Terminal Point Technique analysis, and use a Zenith 440 drop-piece table to help FIX THE PROBLEM. These tables are the Rolls Royce of chiropractic adjusting tables, with pneumatic cocking mechanisms that put patient experience at the forefront. Whilst they can be loud and may appear intimidating at first, they allow for a high level of patient comfort without compromising impact or required force.

We believe the combination of these two original techniques gives the most effective LONG-TERM relief in the shortest possible time. Most importantly, once spinal balance and homeostasis has been achieved, we emphasis the importance of when not to adjust, and when the body should be LEFT ALONE. We offer proactive and preventative Chiropractic care as a great way to help promote health and wellbeing, however we have a strong focus on providing input when and where it is needed, and steer clear of over-scheduling and adjusting when not required.
